David Thompson
David was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Protegic in early 2010. He has well established credentials in terms of growing businesses in Australia and throughout Asia. David's combined assets of his well rounded customer relationship focus and his leadership skills are ensuring a strategic and manageable growth path is taken. David's previous roles include Vice President Asia Pacific for AXS-One (part of Unify Corp), Managing Director of IXOS Software and Southern Region Director for SAP.
Steve Dafnakis
Steve is Protegic's Group Financial Controller. Steve who is a highly skilled finance and administration executive with a track record in project management, management reporting and financial analysis with a focus on the commercial aspects of business. He has a strong aptitude in leadership and effective communication attributes ensure excellent and ongoing working relationships are achieved. Steve has previously enjoyed success at AXS-One, Computron Software, ANZ Funds Management and Greater Pacific Life.
Roberta is Protegic’s VIC and SA State Manager responsible for all day to day operations and service delivery. Roberta is a solution focused management professional with over 14 years’ experience across Finance, ICT, Manufacturing and Not-For-Profit organisations. She has broad business experience, general management and project and program management experience, with an emphasis on effective relationship management for customers and staff. Roberta’s key strengths include strategy development and execution and managing diverse teams across multi business disciplines to achieve organisational vision, strategy and goals. Roberta’s has previously held senior management positions at Defence Force Credit Union and Telstra and senior consulting roles at SMS Management and Technology.
Jo Buchanan
Jo is Protegic's NSW and ACT State Manager responsible for the day to day operations and service delivery. Jo is a specialist in the operational and personnel management aspects of running and growing successful businesses. Her extensive management and leadership experience is across a range of industries, specialising in logistics, operations and change management with her career in supply chain management and logistics spans 25 years. Jo is also a lecturer for the University of Wollongong Graduate School of Business, an experienced national business awards judge and a Mentor for APICs (Association for Operations Management) as well as the NSW Department of State and Regional Development (DSRD) Women in Business Program. She is an accredited Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) and recently graduated from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) Company Directors Course.
Matthew Stacey Matthew is Protegic's WA and Singapore State Manager responsible for day to day operations and service delivery for these regions. Matthew's key experience is in project management, vendor management, PMO governance, ICT service delivery, project management practice management and project management coaching. Attributes that Matthew brings to Protegic include a customer and delivery focus, practical application of project management and service delivery methods. Matthew has held previous roles with DMR, Fujitsu and the Australian Defence Force.
Janiene Ayre Janiene is Protegic’s Marketing Manager and acting National Talent Manager. Janiene is responsible for short and long term strategic marketing activities, working closely with Protegic’s State Managers and service delivery teams to develop and implement products, marketing strategies and plans to achieve identified business outcomes. Janiene has a an impressive record of running creative and innovative projects and brings with her demonstrated project management skills. Her experience prior to Protegic includes partner at MLJ Consulting Group, 10 years at senior level in local government, and strong connections in the manufacturing, hospitality and retail sectors.
