Neil Gamble, Chairman (advisory)
For the past 20 years, Neil has been CEO and an Executive Director of major companies including a Greg Norman/Great White Shark Enterprises joint venture with Macquarie Bank, the Solution 6 Group, Star City Holdings, Australis Media and Wormald International Group. His current roles include chairman/investor in Ryarc Media, a global supplier of digital signage software. Neil is well known and highly respected across Asia Pacific and is also well connected in the broader business community.
David Thompson, CEO & Director
David has well established credentials in terms of growing businesses in Australia and throughout Asia. David's combined assets of his well rounded customer relationship focus and his leadership skills are ensuring a strategic and manageable growth path is taken. David's previous roles include Vice President Asia Pacific for AXS-One (part of Unify Corp), Managing Director of IXOS Software and Southern Region Director for SAP.
Greg Ward, Non-Executive Director
Greg is Protegic's founding Chairman and was CEO of Protegic until early 2010. He is now CEO of Prism Defence and has held a number of roles in both private and public organisations including Defence SA, the SA Government, Allegiance Systems and the Royal Australian Navy. Greg is an experienced project and program manager with significant experience in a range of complex IT and civil infrastructure projects. He has broad experience as a senior executive in medium to large organisations and in management of the successful start-up of a number of innovative companies.
Mark Cooper, Non-Executive Director
Mark has more than 34 years in various leadership roles including the past 12 years in either Executive Management positions and/or Senior Project Delivery roles including Program and Portfolio Management as well as being directly responsible for the delivery of significant high profile projects for Commercial and Government clients alike. Furthermore, Mark is part owner of other two succesful corporations that support his primary day to day role in providing Executive and Senior Management Delivery Coaching as well as strategic facilitation to a number of small and medium Enterprise Organisations.
Matthew Curtain, Non-Executive Director
Matt has been on the Protegic board for five years and is a Program Manager with EB Services, which provides high quality IT services to the utility industry. He has held previous positions with SP-AusNet, Protegic, BHP Billiton and Mantrack. Matt brings to his role considerable experience across multiple industries including defence, aviation and advertising. He also has also spent more than 15 years in IT management and project management with a focus on realising business benefits.
Steve Dafnakis, Secretary
Steve is Protegic's Group Financial Controller and is in his second year with the company. Steve is a highly skilled and professional finance and administration executive with a track record in project management, management reporting and financial analysis with a focus on the commercial aspects of business. He has a strong aptitude in leadership and effective communication attributes ensure excellent and ongoing working relationships are achieved. Steve has previously enjoyed success at AXS-One, Computron Software, ANZ Funds Management and Greater Pacific Life.
