Protegic Strengthens its Expansion in Asia
Protegic, Australia's fastest growing specialist project management consultancy, has appointed a regional director for Singapore and Asia, based in Singapore.
 
This marks a significant step in Protegic's presence in Asia as the region was previously managed from Australia.
 
Protegic's success has been based on providing well-respected, independent project management advisory and resourcing services to some of Australia's best-known organisations with many projects undertaken in Asia.

Protegic in Top 30 BRW List

Protegic has entered the 2010 BRW Fast Starters List for the first time, coming in at number 29. 

 
The annual survey assesses revenue, breadth of customers, revenue stream and staff numbers. Protegic's category, Professional, Scientific and Technical Services, was the largest, accounting for 21 per cent of companies on this year's list.
 
Established in 2006, Protegic commenced in a home office and has grown to a $4.75 million company with offices and representatives in South Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia and Singapore.
 
Founded by five executives all in their forties, the business has expanded exponentially in the past two years. Its latest financial results represent a growth of 41 per cent over the previous year. Like 76 per cent of other businesses on BRW's Fast Starters List of the top 100 companies, Protegic's main contributor to the increase in revenue was organic growth.

 

Six new project management products for Protegic

  • Project Health Check, which analyses the essential components of a project including project management methodology, progress against plan, reporting systems and quality of stakeholder interactions to determine how well it is tracking towards its stated objectives.
 
  • Program Management Office (PMO) Maturity Assessment helps an organisation understand whether their PMO is generating greater value for their business than the combined value of each of their projects individually. 
 
  • Gateway Review is seen as an insurance policy for project investment. It gives a business confidence that their project is ready to proceed based on objective analysis of key performance criteria linked to the business stated project objectives.
 
  • Enterprise Throughput Management Office will improve an enterprise-wide organisation's flow of projects through a PMO pipeline leading to shorter project delivery cycles, greater optimisation of expensive resources and ultimately better value for project and program investment.
